It’s no secret that I’m a fan of semi-homemade holiday recipes. And if you, too, are a fan (or just burnt out from making everything from scratch), this post is for you.
The holidays can be such a hectic time, so saving yourself the headache by going with semi-homemade options can be so helpful and can allow you more time to spend with your loved ones.
Semi-Homemade Holiday Pizza Crust Wreath
This semi-homemade holiday recipe looks so impressive and seriously doesn’t take much effort. Using Jus-Rol’s round & thin crust pizza dough (or their family-sized pizza dough) and Dorot Gardens crushed garlic, you can make the cutest holiday pizza crust wreath recipe with an amazing dipping sauce that can easily be adjusted to your liking.
You can use any leftover meat or your favorite deli sliced meat, along with any cheese you prefer. For me, roast beef and gruyere pair so well together, and it’s what I happened to be craving at the time I made this recipe.
Pizza Crust Wreath with Roast Beef & Gruyere
For the Pizza:
- Jus-Rol Round & Thin Pizza Crust Dough
- ½C to 1C Gruyere Cheese, shredded
- ¼ lb. to ½ lb. chopped roast beef (deli slices, chopped work just fine)
- Handful of arugula
Garlic Lemon Horseradish Aioli:
- ¼ lemon
- ¼ C mayonnaise
- 1 tsp prepared horseradish
- ½ cube Dorot Gardens crushed garlic (thawed)
Instructions
Pizza Instructions:
- Roll out your round thin crust Jus-Rol pizza dough on the included parchment paper.
- Using a bowl or large mouth cup, cut out the center of your dough to make a wreath shape.
- Pre-bake your crust for about 6 minutes (follow heating instructions from Jus-Rol)
- Place your chopped roast beef around your pre-baked “wreath.”
- Top with shredded Gruyere cheese.
- Place “wreath” back into the oven for 5-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and dough is slightly crispy.
Garlic Horseradish Aioli:
- Combine mayo, prepared horseradish and garlic in a small bowl.
- Squeeze your lemon wedge into the sauce and whisk together to combine. If your sauce is too runny, add more mayo. If it’s too thick, add more lemon juice.
- Drizzle over your “wreath” or serve on the side as a dip.
Why Jus-Rol pizza dough versus homemade dough?
…because this post wouldn’t be about semi-homemade recipes if I made the dough from scratch! But, mostly because Jus-Rol doughs are affordable, easy to work with, save me time, and taste great.
Jus-Rol’s fresh dough is rolled onto parchment paper which allows for quicker prep time and less mess. Their round & thin pizza crust can be placed directly onto your baking pan using the attached baking paper, which then transfers easily to a cutting board after cooking.
This dough is Non-GMO, has no artificial flavors or colors, contains no high fructose corn syrup or bleached flour, and is suitable for vegetarians!

Why Dorot Gardens Garlic?
I actually keep Dorot Gardens fresh frozen crushed garlic as well as their fresh frozen basil on hand at all times because they taste great and are just plain easy to work with at any time of year.
Their crushed garlic is the perfect addition to the horseradish aioli for this recipe, but also comes in handy for the many other dishes I make for my family.
Dorot Gardens Garlic:
- 1 cube = 1 clove
- No more smelling hand (woohoo!)
- Farm Fresh
- pre-portioned garlic eliminates chopping, peeling and measuring, making it effortless to season and flavor your cooking.

The concept for RECIPE 33 was created in 2016 when founder Dan Smith was going back to school. Doing so required a lot of late-night study sessions and of course, someone would always bring snacks. Our team loved flavored almonds. The problem was the messy seasoning all over your hands and the artificial ingredients were less than desirable. Smith believed there had to be a better way – and so RECIPE 33 infused almonds were born!
What are Infused Almonds? RECIPE 33 developed a proprietary small batch process to take real ingredients and infuse flavor into each almond without the addition of any artificial additives or flavors.
