(This post, “Non-Candy Easter Basket Ideas” is an #AD with Hasbro)
Easter is fast approaching and if you’re looking for some fun, interactive, non-candy Easter basket ideas, I’ve got a great list for you.
Non-Candy Easter Basket Ideas from Hasbro
My Little Pony Smashin’ Fashion Twilight Sparkle
(Ages 5 years & up – Approx. Retail Price: $7.99)
My girls have both been obsessed with My Little Pony since they were tiny, so they were so excited to see these new Smashin’ Fashion ponies and their fun accessories.
With this toy, you not only get an adorable poseable pony, but you also get 7 fashion accessories to transform your Twilight Sparkle into a tiger fashionista. Accessories include a tiger ear headband, gloves, boots, a bracelet, and 2 fun dresses to dress her up in. You also get a fun hidden accessory that pops out of the “Smashin’ Pack.” Similar to those mini smash balloons, you smash the pack, let it expand, and out pops your mystery accessory and friendship balloon.
Why We Like It: We love toys that come with a surprise element and really enjoyed the Smashin’ pack.
Baby Alive Sunshine Snacks Baby
(Ages 3 years & up – Approx. Retail Price: $24.99)
Over the years, my girls have had various Baby Alive dolls and they’ve loved them all. The Baby Alive Sunshine Snacks Baby is so adorable and comes with a compound material reusable doll food, a popsicle mold and stick, and a little fork. And after feeding the doll, you can clean her out and then she can then go right into the bathtub for water play.
Update Why We Like It: Using the included compound and mold, kids can create their ice pop shape and feed it to their doll, then can retrieve the reusable solid doll food out of the doll’s built-in plastic diaper. There’s no need to continuously buy more solid doll food, as long as you seal up the reusable solid doll food after each use.
FURREAL FLITTER THE KITTEN
(Ages 4 & up/Approx. Retail Price $14.99/Available: Now)
This little furReal kitten has so many cute features and has been a favorite for my girls. These pets have color-changing eyes to reveal their moods (ex. sleepy: blue, hungry: green, angry: red, happy: yellow), along with lots of nice textures and features.
Why We Like It: Flitter the Kitten has beautiful fabric wings that move when her back button is pushed. She has fun lights and sounds which can be activated 2 ways. This pet also comes with treats.
FOOSKETBALL GAME
(Ages 8 years & up – Players: 2 – Approx. Retail Price: $19.99)
If you have kids that love Foosball, add this fun Foosketball game to their Easter baskets this year. It combines the best of foosball and basketball in a convenient tabletop size.
Why We Like It: While it does take quite a while to really master the control aspect of this game, I love that my 9-year old can play this game with me. And for the most part, this game is pretty self-contained making for easy storage.
PLAY-DOH COMPOUND KITCHEN CREATIONS GRILL ‘N STAMP PLAYSET
(Ages 3 years & up – Approx. Retail Price: $14.99)
PLAY-DOH compound is a household favorite around here, and you can’t go wrong with this fun Grill ‘N Stamp set.
Why We Like It: My youngest daughter pointed out how many options you have for shaping the PLAY-DOH compound for the perfect pretend cookout. You can make PLAY-DOH compound hot dogs, burgers, chicken wings, kabobs, and so much more. We also like the built-in ink-pad feature which stamps little “sear” marks on your PLAY-DOH compound meat.
This set also comes with 6 different PLAY-DOH compound colors, as well as accessories like a cutting board, kabob skewer, spatula, plates, a fork, and a knife.
We hope these non-candy easter basket ideas have encouraged you this year. I like that everything is so reasonably priced and well-made.
