Valentine’s Day Dessert Board: Option A
Straight, clean, and symmetrical.
This option is super aesthetically pleasing and makes it clear what you’re offering your guests.
Start with a smaller charcuterie board/cutting board, and work from the center to the outside. Don’t be afraid to go off the board as long as you have a clean surface underneath.
What I like about this board layout is how quick and easy it was to set up.
There is plenty of space between each ingredients, so you don’t have to focus so much on making everything touch and join together as one.
Valentine’s Day Dessert Board: Option B
Traditional, clustered, and full.
If you are looking to create a Valentine’ day dessert board that takes on the look of a more traditional charcuterie board, this option is for you.
Start by placing an item (in this case, a large handful of conversation heart candies) slightly off-centered. Next, start laying out your sweets in a random pattern, but still somewhat organized.
What I like about this option is how full it looks.
I used the same ingredients as the above option A, but having everything all clustered together makes the board seem more full and impressive.
This board layout took more to set up because everything had to be placed in such a way where they stayed in stacks.
What is Galentine’s Day?
Galentine’s Day is typically celebrated on February 13th is a holiday for the single ladies, little girls, or the ladies that are taken and just want to have a little girl time.
I absolutely love the idea of a Galentine’s Day gathering and think that a dessert party is a sweet idea.
Another great option would be to have a wine pairing party (or sparkling cider for the little ones). Check out my Boho Bar Cart inspiration.
