One of my favorite things to do is browse Pinterest for dream home inspiration – you know, in case I stumble upon a few million dollars one of these days!
This classic Mediterranean home has so many design elements I love including a white stucco exterior, a bright white living room, and a large open concept kitchen.
Currently owned (and for sale) by Senorita writer Ali Tamposi, this classic Mediterranean-style home echoes her artistic good taste.
Built in 1939 during Hollywood’s glamor period and undergoing an extensive remodel in 2015, the gated three-story home with guest house is white, bright, spacious and contemporary inside while still paying respect to its era with standout tile work, large fireplace, great room with 15’ ceiling, and balconies with wrought-iron railings.
One special feature is a roof terrace with fire pit and views of the Griffith Observatory.
When I think of “dream homes,” I typically think of massive in size, but this home is a perfect 3,521 square feet with four bedrooms and five bathrooms. Just big enough for everyone to have their own space, yet small enough to maintain.
The Kitchen
I can’t get enough of the large gourmet eat-in kitchen with a large island, marble countertops and Miele appliances. The wall of French doors open accordion-style to create a vanishing threshold between the kitchen and the entertaining space of the pool patio.
And how cute is the pool house with its own little kitchen?
Mediterranean Backyard Inspo
I’ve been on the hunt for backyard and front yard landscape ideas and I really love the look of the grape vines, lemon trees, and hedges in this yard.
The beautiful saltwater pool with a spa and shallow lounging area is perfect for entertaining, too. I don’t know about you, but I can definitely see myself relaxing in this gorgeous backyard.
