This blog post is sponsored by Babbleboxx on behalf of Ecovacs. My Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 950 review is honest and based on my experience with the product.
If I were to give you one piece of advice a few months ago – just one little smidgen of a tip when remodeling a home – it would be “DON’T CHOOSE DARK HARDWOOD FLOORS.” Our dark floors have been the most depressing thing in our house for the last 8 or so years, but that literally changed for me the day I got a robotic vacuum.
So many of our friends had told us to just bite the bullet and buy a robotic vacuum. They told us they made life easier. Did we listen? Obviously not. (Ha!)
My husband had been comparing vacuum models for, what seemed like, months. We still had not come to a decision about which model we were going to choose, but one thing we knew we had to have was the smart mapping system. The Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 950 seemed like the best fit so we went for it (thanks to Babbleboxx).
First of all, Ozmo, you have saved us. You now have me loving our dark hard floors and have taken a huge burden off of my shoulders every day. For that, I consider you priceless.
Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 950 Review
Features:
The Deebot Ozmo 950 has impressive features that help make cleaning easier. Not only does it offer 3+ hours of consecutive cleaning time, it also has a Max+ Suction Power Mode for deeper cleaning.
The Deebot Ozmo 950 goes from carpet to hard floors seamlessly and auto-adjusts itself to provide the best clean possible.
As I mentioned above, a huge feature we knew we couldn’t live without is the floor mapping technology. The Deebot Ozmo 950 has a system called SmartNavi 3.0 (TM) with updated virtual boundaries, multi-floor mapping (great for multi-level homes), and Ozmo Technology which actually mops your floor as it vacuums. But don’t worry, it doesn’t mop the carpets.
This robotic vacuum is Ecovacs’ thinnest design yet which allows for the vacuum to cover more service area. It cleans underneath my couches, TV stand, and dining chairs with ease.
Smart Home Compatible
I am in the process of turning my home into a smart home and that includes adding devices compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The Deebot Ozmo 950 is compatible with both devices which allow you to control your cleaning cycles easily.
Another handy tool is the Ecovacs Home app. From the app you can check the status of your Ozmo, tell it to clean only certain areas on your home map, and more.
If you’ve been in the market for a robotic vacuum that is smart home compatible, I recommend you take the plunge now. I regret not ordering one sooner and suffered with my messy dark hard floors for no reason.
You can visit the Ecovacs website to learn more about this incredible robotic vacuum. You can also check out other reviews and features.
If you have one, I’d love to hear your thoughts and if you have any tips.
Simple Boho Living Room Ideas
Since we’re on the topic of cleaning the home, I thought I would share my latest room makeover.
If you’re looking for some simple boho living room ideas, I have a few, but Pinterest has a ton. You can visit my Home board to see what I’ve been pinning lately.
I picked up my wall decor from TJ Maxx, Home Goods, and Target. Each piece was under $50 and easy to hang. I added a plant, a rug with pops of color, and some simple boho pillows. You can also find similar decor items on Amazon.
I like to change the shelf decor almost weekly, but I find my shelf decor at Target, TJ Maxx, and local boutiques.
