I still can’t believe my oldest just turned seven and has officially started second grade. Time needs to slow it down a bit, mmkay? This momma can’t handle it!

Something that I am loving about this new “big girl” status, though, is that Charlotte is super into fashion right now, particularly trendy outfits and shoes. I feel like for the past few years, she just wore whatever I picked out for her, but now she actually wants to have a say in what we buy. It’s so much fun and I’m loving this ” follow me to the sea” Rylee+Cru outfit she picked from The Picket Fence kids boutique. It pairs perfectly with the new kids Mary Janes that Nine West sent her.

These Nine West Vivien kids Mary Janes have a faux buckle that actually Velcros shut. It can be adjusted for a better fit, which is always a plus, but she doesn’t have to mess with a complicated buckle while at school. And the adorable lattice cut-outs on the fronts of the shoes are great for summer and for transitioning into Fall before the rain begins.

I’ve always loved Nine West shoes for women, and actually had no idea they carried kids shoes. And depending on where you shop, you can get them super reasonably priced.
