The Livermore Valley Winegrowers Foundation and The Wente Foundation for Arts Education invite you to join us for the 24th annual Livermore Valley Wine Auction on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Wente Vineyards on Arroyo Road in the Livermore Valley.
Since its inception, the Livermore Valley Wine Auction has raised over $5 million to support underserved local children. This year’s Auction will benefit four deserving programs: De La Salle Academy, a private, non-profit middle school in Concord that educates low-income boys with academic promise; Open Heart Kitchen, for their weekend lunch program for children who receive free school lunches during the week; Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center’s Bankhead Theater, for local school outreach; and STEAM (Science, Technology, Education, Arts and Math) programs in our Tri-Valley school districts.
The Livermore Valley Wine Auction is a beautiful, black tie evening under the stars. It starts with a wine tasting hosted by local winemakers who will pour their best wines while guests browse an extensive array of exclusive silent auction lots, including great wines from the Livermore Valley and throughout California. Then, guests will enjoy a delicious dinner paired with Livermore Valley wines while a professional auctioneer offers exciting live auction lots focused on wine, food and travel. After dinner, a lively band will play while guests dance the night away.
The mission of the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Foundation is to raise funds to improve the quality of life for under-served local children. The mission of the Wente Foundation for Arts Education is to provide support for arts education programs in the Livermore Valley. Since 2012, these two foundations have partnered to present the Livermore Valley Wine Auction, in support of East Bay children.
