It’s officially almost Puerto Vallarta vacation time for me which means I’m a bit of a stress case over here. I absolutely hate packing because I always have that fear of forgetting something, but my Stitch Fix stylist provided some major help and made packing for Puerto Vallarta so easier for me.
Outfit Cards
I get regular Stitch Fix deliveries sent to my house every 2-3 weeks and in those clothing shipments come these helpful little cards that have outfit suggestions using some of the pieces from that clothing box. I always keep my outfit cards in a safe spot so I can flip through them when I need outfit inspiration. These really came in handy when packing for my trip.
The Art of Overpacking (and how I get away with it)
Typically when I travel, I pack on the lighter side and go with a carry-on only, but since I will gone for 10 days this trip, I am packing more than one bag. No matter what size luggage I take on my trips, I love to roll my clothes so that I can squeeze the maximum amount of outfits into the smallest suitcase possible. Rolling also somewhat helps with wrinkles, but you’d be amazed at how much space you save.
New to Stitch Fix?
In case you aren’t familiar with Stitch Fix, they are a personal styling service that tailors your clothing deliveries to your personal style and desires. I’ve had so much fun trying clothing from new brands, and even styles outside of my comfort zone with Stitch Fix.
To get a Fix, you pay $20 per box to cover your stylist fee, but if you choose to purchase anything from that box, your $20 gets credits towards those items.
My favorite way to get the trendiest items in my Stitch Fix boxes is by communicating with my stylist within the Stitch Fix member site. You simply login to your account and leave a note for your stylist letting her know what kind of outfits you are looking for in your next box. I even love to request my favorite brands or an item I may have received in a previous box and loved, but didn’t purchase at that time.
This time around, I asked my stylist to put together a box full of clothing that would be good for Puerto Vallarta and she totally delivered. I received a beautiful maxi dress, a pair of really cute shorts (which you will be seeing a lot of on my Instagram page, a white button-up linen shirt, some adorable Sam Edelman platform espadrille slip-on shoes, and a chambray romper from Bella Dahl.
Stitch Fix stylists are trained to find your ideal fit, destination, event, and more. They make shopping easy and make packing for vacation so much more exciting. A great way to share some outfits you might be looking to receive in your next fix is to create a Pinterest board and pin what you love. Your stylist can reference this board when putting together your Fix.
