If you’ve ever been to the beach, put your feet in the water, and then walked around in the sand, you will understand how difficult it is to get that sand off of your feet when it’s time to leave. You will especially understand if you have little kids. Most beaches have foot showers to rinse your feet off, but these tend to completely soak my kids – plus the water is always freezing cold! Needless to say, we avoid them if we can. Today, I want to share a super simple trick we use to get rid of unwanted sand on the the body after leaving the beach: The Baby Powder Trick!
Using Baby Powder to Get Sand Off Your Feet
The baby powder trick is simple. You just pour baby powder on your skin after you’ve been in the sand and gently rub the sand off. The baby powder helps absorb the moisture and is a nice gentle, clean way to get the sand off of yourself and your little ones.
You can use any baby powder that you have, but we like the Babytime Silky Powder (Amazon link: http://amzn.to/2tbsGZp) because it takes away that dirty beach smell. The Silky Powder smells like sweet wild rose and contains natural probiotics. It’s a super soft, dry, silky powder that also works great for keeping moisture away from little baby wrinkles.
