Looking good doesn’t have to be expensive. You don’t necessarily have to scrimp on anything in order to turn into the best version of yourself – there are some great tricks and tips out there to get you well on your way…
Follow the Blogs
Bloggers are always teaming up with PR agencies to get their readers the best scoop on new products – whether that is in the form of discount codes, vouchers or even a select presale, you can’t go wrong with following a couple of blog that suit your interests and keeping your eye on what’s going to be available. There are so many fashion blogs online right now, and there are niche ones too – so no matter what your shape, style or size, there will be someone out there, such as Budget Fashionita, waiting for you to read. These writers also do the hard work for you and find out where to get the best deals – they know how to bring in the traffic!
Subscribe to a Box
This is a relatively new trend to follow, but one that promises to deliver – and it does just that (both literally and metaphorically!). Subscription beauty boxes, such as Glossybox and Cohorted, offer you samples, tasters and full-sizes of the best products that they can find for you on the market. You simply fill in an online form which lets them know your preferences, skin type and style, and then sit back and let them do the rest. There are quite a few subscription boxes coming out now for different products, and they are all in competition with one another; this rivalry produces a constant need to outdo any other boxes that may be of the same category that are available to you, so pick and choose which one you want to go for and stick with it. Their signup offers are often incredible and amazing value for money, and most only require a 1-month subscription fee if that is all you want to go for. Plus, it’s always nice to receive good mail!
Shop Around
The most simple, basic fact is always the one that’s going to be uttered again and again, isn’t it? If you shop around and know where to go for what’s cheap, you will always save money. The internet gives us great comparison sites to go on so we are able to find out what is available to us and at what price. There are even some makeup swap groups, where new or only slightly used products are available for discount prices or an exchange with something you don’t use. A simple google will also be able to provide you details on any dupes (duplicates) that have been discovered for big-name brands; you could find that you are saving yourself a small fortune just by doing a bit of research beforehand. Bigger names are moving into smaller, more accessible drug stores now, and some are even doing store-exclusive sets – look around and see what you can find.
