We as a nation have grown so accustomed to using paper products. After all, they’re so convenient and really aren’t that expensive. We’ve had a crazy drought here in California for quite some time, so using paper products is a great way to save water; but I often forget that trees are being sacrificed for those paper plates and napkins that I love so much – and I really do like trees!
Tranlin, an earth-friendly paper and fertilizer company that I recently connected with, has figured out a seemingly simple way to go tree-free and earth-friendly with their disposable tableware, toilet paper, tissues and other products. They completely bypass the precious trees that our earth needs and resort to the dry fields that we so abundantly have; and all of Tranlin’s products are as good if not better than the paper products I already use and love, so it’s pretty much a no-brainer.
Thick Paper Plates, Napkins and Bowls
There’s nothing worse than paper plates or bowls that collapse once they bear a heavy load. Tranlin’s paper plates and bowls are thick and super strong to help avoid those party mishaps. The best way I can describe the thickness is: think tree-free Chinet. I don’t typically like to mentioned other brands when writing about a client, but Chinet is a brand that I typically buy for parties because their products are thick and reliable. Tranlin’s products are even better because they don’t bleach their products, they aren’t made from trees and they are even stronger!
Tranlin’s napkins are pretty nice, too. They are big, thick, and super absorbent, so you’ll need to reach for less of them during dinnertime. I’m actually really loving the unbleached color of them, too.

Tranlin’s Toilet Paper and Tissues

Something that I have noticed about the Tranlin toilet paper is that unlike any other toilet paper I’ve used, this is pretty much lint-free. That means no mess on the toilet paper roll holder, no mess all over the ground, and no lint anywhere else (if you catch my drift).

I'm different, I guess…I don't currently purchase disposable plates for the very reason that I dislike adding to landfill. I do, however, use napkins, tissues, paper towels, and of course toilet paper (who doesn't?) so finding an environmentally-friendly brand like Tranlin means a lot to me. I'll definitely look for their products and would love to win the T.P. giveaway to try it out for myself.
