My in-laws were in town last weekend so we went on a little day trip to Calaveras County to explore the cute little town of Murphy’s, Ironstone Vineyards and Calaveras Big Trees State Park.
My husband had to work so the girls, my mom and I met the in-laws at Ironstone where we explored the grounds. We then headed out to the town of Murphy’s and had a great lunch at Firewood Restaurant (I recommend the fish tacos). From there, we headed to Big Trees.
Big Trees is such a great little daycation activity for the entire family. I was able to take my jogging strolling along the entire walking path which made it a whole lot easier with a toddler.
