In the past, The Naptime Reviewer has been a go-to source for holiday gift suggestions for men, women, children and even pets. We’ve always given suggestions through our lists titled “Holiday Gift Guide 201X.
This year, we’re doing things differently.
Blogging for the Brands (and only the brands)
In our past gift guides, we blogged for the brands and only for the brands. This is a great way to build relationships with the brands, but some of these products might not even appeal to our viewers. We featured products that the brands suggested we add to our gift guides, rather than featuring brands that we chose ourselves. In fact, most bloggers’ gift guides work the same way. They receive an email from a brand with a gift guide suggestion and they add it to their list without another thought about it.
2015 Gift Guide Solution
Instead of posting endless lists of products that don’t appeal to us or our readers, this year we will post just a few of our holiday gift suggestions. Some of these will be sponsored posts carefully selected by us (because we have to pay the bills) and some of these will be non-sponsored posts (because we found an awesome product that we’d love to have). No matter what, though, the products will be our genuine gift suggestions.
We’re curious! What’s on YOUR holiday wish list this year? Anything good that we should add to ours?
