“I participated in an Ambassador Activation on behalf of Influence Central forWaterWipes. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.”
Sweat. Dirt. Frosting. Corn. Cow spit.
Those are just five of the reasons why our mommy group was in desperate need of WaterWipes this week. Since the weather has been so nice lately, we decided to take the kiddos to our local pumpkin patch, Dutch Hallow, for a little get-together. Much to my surprise, the girls surprised us with an early birthday party for my {almost} one-year old, Kendall. Since Kendall’s birthday is on Halloween day, some of our friends won’t be able to make it to her party so it was so sweet of them to do this for her.
I couldn’t wait for our mommy group play-date because I was going to be sharing my love for WaterWipes with the girls. Little did I know how much we would be needing them.
I set out some travel packs of WaterWipes for each family to sample. Everyone loved the fact that they contain 99.9% water, .1% GSE and that they were chemical free, especially since a couple of the families have kids with sensitive skin. Of course, water is technically a chemical (h2o) but what I mean when I say “chemical free” is that there are no harmful chemicals in the liquid in WaterWipes.
The verdict?
They loved them!
I’ve personally been using WaterWipes in our household for over a month. In my last WaterWipes blog post, I mentioned that Kendall has been battling eczema really bad lately. There are only two brands of wipes that have not caused her to break out in a rash and don’t further irritate her rashes and WaterWipes is one of them. I use WaterWipes to wipe her face off just about every hour, I use them for diaper changes, and I use them for her hands and feet and everything in between as needed. We’ve had nothing but great experiences but my only negative comment about WaterWipes has to do with their package design.
I was noticing that my purse would be soaking wet at times and I could never figure out the cause. One day, I went to reach for my pack of WaterWipes only to find out that the sticker that covers the hole on the package was curled up. Then it hit me. My WaterWipes were leaking in my purse.
WaterWipes recommends that you keep the wipes in their original packaging, rather than put them in a wipes warmer or baby wipes case, due to the fact that they don’t contain any preservatives. I’ve had to rely on a rubber band to keep my sticker on tight which is somewhat of an inconvenience.
As moms, we all want what’s best for our kids. We live in an era that’s more chemically-conscious than ever before and it can be tough to make decisions based on others’ public opinions. As a WaterWipes mom, I vow to offer my opinion of the products I try but will never judge you for the products you choose to use. We need to be uplifting and supportive of fellow moms and respect their decisions as parents.
By hosting a WaterWipes party, I was able to share the wipes with my friends and gather their opinions about them. All of the moms in our group agreed that WaterWipes needs to redesign their packaging to create a more leak-free package but that the wipes themselves are great.
