Whether you’re a frequent tailgater or prefer the coziness of watching games from your own couch, you’ll most likely need some snacks this football season. TGI Fridays has launched a new line of grab-n-go snacks for all of us snack-a-holics.
The new TGI Fridays snack line includes:
1. Happy Hour Snack Mix: There are several nut/cracker mixes on the market, but nothing like the TGI Fridays approach that features bold flavors spanning from sweet (bbq) to hot (wasabi) to spicy (sriracha) to offer an entirely different twist on the tailgate staple. Combining nuts, pretzels, crackers and seeds in the tradition of happy hour pub mixes, these Snack Mixes are offered in four different varieties – Cheddar Bacon, Sriracha, Sweet Barbeque and Sweet and Spicy Snack Mix. The four varieties four flavors are available in 2.65-ounce and 6-ounce pouches and are available in select grocery and convenience stores nationwide with a suggested retail price of $2.99 and $4.99,
These Snack Mixes are super salty and full of bold flavor. My favorite of the four is the Sweet Barbeque. It’s the perfect mix of salty and sweet with a little bit of tang.
2. Sweet Potato Skins: These tantalizingly delicious snacks are made from real sweet potatoes and are seasoned with a mild blend of cane sugar, molasses and salt to perfectly accent the natural sweetness of the potatoes. The combination of salty/sweet taste and unique shape (like a real potato skin) is sure to set them apart on the tailgate table. And because they are made with real sweet potatoes, they happen to offer 50 percent of the daily recommended value of vitamin A in each serving! This new snack is available in convenience and grocery stores nationwide in 2.75 ounce and 5 ounce bags, respectively. A convenient 1.35 ounce single-serve bag will also available in vending machines. The suggested retail price ranges from $1.00 to $2.69 per package.
These sweet potato skins are so good. My family shared a bag and everyone loved it. This is definitely my favorite out of all of the TGI Fridays snacks and one that I will be buying again.
