Coffee. Cafe. Deliciousness. Liquid gold. Brew. Java. Mud. Joe.
Americans spend roughly $1,100 on coffee each year or about $14.40 per week according to a recent study. No matter what you call it or how you drink it, that’s a lot of dinero; and with Fall in full swing, you’re probably finding yourself sipping more than you did in the Summertime, like me.
On my most recent trip to the coffee shop, my small Pumpkin Spice Latte had me forking out almost $5; For one cup of coffee. That’s crazy, right? If you’re also a fan of the fabulous flavor of Fall (a.k.a. the Pumpkin Spice Latte), I’ve found a way for you to save your money by making them at home. If you have a K-cup coffee brewer at home, you’re already half way to a cup of deliciousness. You’re just missing a box of Pumpkin Spice Latte k-cups from Gevalia Kaffe.
These two-step lattes are just another one of the fabulous flavors of coffee that Gevalia has to offer this Fall at a fraction of the price of that coffee shop latte – complete with froth and all. This medium bodied coffee is made with real milk, premium Arabica coffee and the flavors that you expect from a Pumpkin Spice Latte. Each cup that I enjoy gets me more and more excited for the Fall weather (whenever it should arrive here in California).
My husband has been sipping on the Gevalia Kaffe Bold Majestic Roast K-cups from their Heritage collection since he’s not a Pumpkin Spice guy. This coffee is made from 100% Arabica beans and has a bold, earthy cocoa flavor. I was surprised to hear that he thought this coffee was “really good” after taking his first sip. He’s hard to please when it comes to food and drinks, so this coffee must be good.
What I love about Gevalia coffee is how well it pairs with foods. You’re going to laugh, but, I actually enjoyed a Pumpkin Spice Latte with a roast beef sandwich the other day. Since the Pumpkin Spice Latte is such a treat, it was like having dessert with my lunch.
I don’t usually get the luxury of enjoying a cup of coffee first thing in the morning like I’d like to because my kids wake up in “full blast” mode. So, not only do I need the caffeine to keep up with them, I really enjoy the taste of coffee and feel like I deserve a coffee break to myself each day.
