When choosing a skincare line, did you ever think that the chemicals it contained could be harmful to an unborn or nursing child? The Belli product line shown above features Anti-Blemish Facial Wash, Healthy Glow Facial Hydrator, Acne Control Spot Treatment (because we all know how a blemish will pop up instantly when you’re pregnant!), Eye Brightening Cream, Pure Radiance Facial Sunscreen, and Sheer Comfort Lip Balm. I absolutely love the Healthy Glow Facial Hydrator – it leaves your skin so soft, without any greasy or heavy feel. It’s light enough to wear during the day, but still hydrates all night. At first, the Pure Radiance Facial Sunscreen seemed to make my face a bit “whitish” looking, but after it warmed on my skin for a while it blended right in and protected nicely.
I love that Belli also has products to calm the itchy skin at night that pregnancy seems to produce. Belli recommends using Belli Fresh Start Pre-Treatment Scrub twice weekly, and Pure & Pampered Body Wash with each shower. After showering, use Belli All Day Moisture Body Lotion, and apply Elasticity Body Oil morning and night. on tummy, breasts, hips and buttocks. Belli also has a Stretchmark Minimizing Cream to keep those stretch marks at a minimum.
While I’m writing this, I’m thinking “Why wouldn’t women want to use Belli facial products all the time?” Who wants to put harmful or toxic chemicals on our face? Belli Skincare products can be used before, during and after pregnancy to develop a great skincare routine.
I think the Belli acne control products would be awesome for “tweens” who are dealing with their first breakouts and need a product that’s gentle yet effective. The Sheer Comfort Lip Balm is also great for young girls as it gives a nice glossy shine without adding color.
