My husband has never been a huge fan of giving gifts for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day but I absolutely love gifts with a meaning. Over the years, though, I’ve gotten him used to the idea of gifting on these holidays. He’s not a card guy and really doesn’t need much, so he can definitely be a hard guy to get a gift for. 12-Phrase Custom Picture Frame
For a while, I’ve been meaning to print the photo below and put it in a frame for my husband to put on his desk at work. This Custom Father’s Day Frame ($60) from Out of the Box Creations was the perfect way to frame this memory of our daughter’s and their daddy.
My three-year old and I had fun coming up with 12 phrases to customize this Father’s Day frame. He is a cyclist that loves Tabasco sauce, his girls, coffee and our dog. He’s tender-hearted, funny and a hard worker. This picture frame is well-made and exceeded my expectations.

All About My Daddy Interview Shadowbox
Another fun option for Father’s Day is the All About My Daddy shadowbox print ($60) from OOTBC. This is an easy project for younger kids and you just might get some hilarious answers. When I asked my daughter how tall her daddy was, she replied with “this tall” with her hand up over her head. She also said that her daddy’s favorite sport was football, but I’m pretty sure it’s cycling.

The back of the frame has a single hook for hanging on the wall but the frame also stands nicely on a flat surface. I do recommend that you hang the picture, though, to avoid accidents.
