When I became a first-time parent, it was my only “job.” I remember being able to hold my first daughter, Charlotte, constantly. She never took a pacifier, so I felt like she was always nursing, but I didn’t mind.
And then came the blog…
I started The NapTime Reviewer when Charlotte was one. She wasn’t as needy as she was when she was an infant but she still required lots of attention. Thankfully she napped twice a day for about two hours each nap. Amazing, I know.
Fast forward to year three on the blog and now I’m a mommy to two. Holy moly. It sure is hard managing a home, a business and kids. Every time I sit down to answer an email or get a blog post done I get hit with “Mommmm, can I have a snackkkk?” Or I hear a huge spittup, diaper blowout or cry come from the baby monitor in the nursery where Kendall is supposed to be napping. The struggle is real, my friends. But oh-so-joyful. I promise.
Today I just wanted to share a handy little piece of amazingness from a brand called Hugaboo that I’m so in love with right now. The Hugaboo baby seat gives babies ages three months to eight months the support they need to sit up on their own. Created with a unique design, the Hugaboo baby seat has 360 degrees of leg and back support. And the cover is machine washable. Hallelujah!
Kendall loves to be upright and I can’t constantly be holding her so the Hugaboo has been a life saver. I can sit her next to me on the couch while I enjoy my morning coffee and a semi-warm breakfast and I’m still able to fully interact with her.
While I work, I can put Kendall on the floor next to me in the Hugaboo. This usually only lasts about ten minutes, but I’ll take what I can get.
The two toy loops on the front of the baby seat are very handy for those linky toys that babies love so much and even the pacifier clip.
I have the Cotton Candy Hugaboo but the website (www.myhugaboo.com) has so many different colors and patterns to choose from. You can grab one of these amazing seats for only $59.99 which is just $10 more than I spent on a mediocre infant seat for Charlotte when she was a baby.
This is definitely going on my must-have baby products list for new parents.
