Date night…
Have you done the good ‘ol “stand the bottle upside down” trick to get as much laundry soap as you can out of the bottle? Me too. But wouldn’t it be nice if the bottles were clear so you could see just how much soap is left in the bottle?
Thankfully, Persil ProClean was thinking when they designed their new bottles.
I recently received a three-pack of Persil ProClean products to facilitate my review. Regardless of compensation, my opinion is always my own.
First Impression
If you’re one that struggles with extra strong scents, you might want to try the Persil ProClean line. The best I can describe the original scent is: men’s cologne mixed with pine and clean soap. I, personally, love products with a masculine scent and I especially love that these products don’t irritate my nose or skin.
What’s really most important to me aside from the cleaning power is the price of a product. With the Power-Liquid 100fl oz bottle you get 64 loads for $11.97 at Walmart. You get about 50 loads with the Power-Pearls for the same price. If you love to use Power-Caps, you can get a pack of 16 for just $5.24.
The Test
I’ve recently tested out all three of the products mentioned above and have nothing negative to say about them. This is shocking for me as I can usually find some reason why I wouldn’t purchase laundry soaps again.
I was shocked to find that the Power-Pearls didn’t leave any powder or residue behind. I simply dumped one load’s worth in the drum of my HE machine and my clothes came out super clean and smelling amazing.
I’ve been using the Power-Liquid on my delicate loads as they are typically smaller and don’t require much soap. It gets the spit-up stains out and doesn’t leave any soap spots on my clothes.
I prefer using laundry soap capsules (or Power-Caps) on regular sized mixed loads with things like pajamas, kitchen towels, burp rags, etc. They have also done a great job at cleaning our clothes and leave a light scent on them even after the dryer cycle.
Overall, my testing process has gone really well and I still can’t get over how nicely priced these products are.
And just in case you were wondering, our most recent date night was super fun. We ended up doing a double date with some friends and went out for drinks and a nice dinner. I ended up finding something to wear out of my “last minute” load of laundry and felt like an adult again.
The Facts
Power-Liquid – Contains a powerful combination of stain-fighters that help break down stains for an exceptional clean. This is The Professional of the group. He’s a no-nonsense, down-to-business laundry perfectionist intent on one thing — getting out stains. From red wine to chocolate frosting, he’s there to lighten the load wherever stains occur. However, don’t thank him, thank the detergent. You’ll find #TheProfessional offering up bits of laundry wit and wisdom on Twitter @PersilProClean. Check it out. You can also see him in action at YouTube.com/PersilProClean.
Power-Pearls – An innovative new kind of detergent that is loaded with Pro-White technology for dazzling whites. Also for colors.
