The World of Eric Carle is celebrating The Very Hungry Caterpillar Day on March 20th! Check out some of these fun events, sales and contests leading up to the big day.
Costume Tour
To kick off The Very Hungry Caterpillar Day celebration, Penguin Young Readers and The World of Eric Carle are hosting a month-long national car and costume tour called “The Very Big Wiggle.” A custom VW bug will make more than twenty stops at libraries, independent bookstores, and Barnes & Noble locations, before arriving in Western Massachusetts the weekend of March 20th, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Day. The events will feature an appearance by the Very Hungry Caterpillar, storytime, special games and art projects.
