This interactive kids app teaches kids and adults alike more about the city of Boston and it’s family-friendly activities in an easy-to-follow way. Kids can read along as the male narrator reads the book aloud. They can follow along as the word being read turns red and they can click around the illustrations to activate various character movements and sounds.
Boston Bernie teaches us about Boston in a hip, modern way from a perspective that we might not otherwise learn from all with no in-app advertising to distract us. This spunky kitty gets into mischief on all of his stops but doesn’t teach kids to be naughty, which I love.
