We cannot wait to see the new Annie movie coming to theaters December 19th. This year’s remake of Annie features a twist on the original story. In the new movie, Annie is a foster child (rather than an orphan) that is tough enough her make her way around the streets of New York. Originally left by her parents as a baby with the promise that they’d be back for her someday, it’s been a hard knock life ever since with her mean foster mom Miss Hannigan. But everything’s about to change when the hard-nosed tycoon and New York mayoral candidate Will Stacks makes a thinly-veiled campaign move and takes her in.

Annie is one of my favorite musicals. I was lucky enough to play one of the French maids in a theater camp that I went to as a teen! bethlarrabee@live.com
