My daughter loves having stories read to her and I’ve just found the perfect app to get the job done no matter where we are. The narrator is very easy to understand and reads the stories slow enough to follow. Once the narrator reaches the end of the page, the child can flip the page when he/she is ready to move forward.
Another fun feature in this app are the mini games. After flipping through a few pages, the book flips to a pop-up mode and instructs the user to click various objects to play along. This is actually my favorite part of the app.
The Fairy Tales app comes with a bonus Star Dust game which is super easy for my daughter to play. The object of the game is to spin and move the 3D star formation until they’ve formed an image. Once you’ve found the image you are rewarded with a star. The background music is soft and mellow and quite pleasant, too.
