Speaking of sets, many gliders come with a matching ottoman. The ottoman can add more than style to your nursery, it can add a real sense of comfort since tired parents will love being able to put their feet up while they glide back and forth with baby.
There are even gliders that have a swivel mechanism so they can move more freely than the regular front and back motion. This could be a real plus if you place your chair near a bookcase or the changing table.
