As we begin to transition our closets for cooler weather, let’s not forget to switch over our skin care routine! With cold and dry weather comes dehydrated skin. Tailoring our skin care routine to match the ever-changing weather is important for maintaining healthy skin.
I have a hard time switching skincare routines because I tend to have breakouts with the changes, especially if I’m switching skincare brands. I try to stick to more natural skincare products to avoid clogging my pores with junk.
Disclosure: I received various product from Derma E to facilitate my review. Any opinion expressed is honest and my own and never influenced by compensation.
Below are five ways to keep skin nourished all through fall, from natural skincare brand, derma e®:
1. Deeply nourish brittle skin with antioxidant-fortified by switching to a gentle cleanser– Hydrating Facial Wipes and Hydrating Cleanser.
2. Dry weather often leaves our skin ridden with unwanted flakes. Exfoliate to remove dry skin with the brand’s spa in a jar,Microdermabrasion Scrub.
3. Regularly use a super-hydrating facial moisturizer such as the Hydrating Serum, Hydrating Eye Crème, Hydrating Night Crème and Hydrating Day Crème.
4. Itchy and dry patches are a common occurrence during the cooler months. Soothe super-dry areas with derma e’s collection of nourishing oils.
5. Summer skin spots are nothing out of the ordinary. Minimize discoloration with the Evenly Radiant® Skin Brightening line. The products contain vital nutrients and antioxidants to help fight discoloration.
Derma E has been one of my favorite skincare brands for 2014. One of my favorite products right now is the Hydrating Night Creme. I’ve been using this “night” cream for daytime, as well, and it’s been layering nicely under my makeup. I’ve seen a huge improvement in the texture and appearance of my skin, going from dry, rough and splotchy to smooth with little to no blemishes.
The microdermabrasion scrub is a product that I’ve been using throughout the year. This product has a great smell and the tiny little particles really help to get that dead layer of skin off of my face, neck and arms.
If you’re one that likes to go to sleep without washing your face, I recommend you check out the awesome hydrating facial wipes. You can literally sit in bed and take off your makeup if you’re feeling extra lazy. My daughter (three-years old) has even been using these before bedtime if she has to skip a bath a night.
