Petunia Pickle Bottom Hideaway Hobo
Petunia Pickle Bottom is an iconic mommy brand. Known for their trendy and durable diaper bags, Petunia is at the top of every new mom’s wish list. For years, one of my favorite PPB diaper bags has been the boxy backpack. It’s great for going hands-free and allows you to store a ton of “junk.” Petunia just recently announced their new Fall bags and prints and I’m so excited to share the new Petunia Pickle Bottom Hideaway Hobo diaper bag with you all.
The hobo style diaper bag is new to Petunia Pickle Bottom and they’ve completely mastered the trend. Diaper bags are going in more of a stylish direction and have been for a few years now. Moms are wanting more of a purse-style diaper bag that’s not overly bulky but is still able to hold all of the necessities. Petunia includes their signature baby wipes case and changing pad with this bag and even has plenty of pocket space to store them.
I’m loving all of the details on the Hideaway Hobo and I’m especially loving the new Beautiful Barcelona print. Petunia added their iconic stitched patch to the front of the bag, a huge front zippered pocket for keys and smaller objects and a magnetic clasp closure to keep your belongings in your bag. When you scroll down through the images below, you’ll also notice the swanky silver chain and leather straps, the flat bucket-style bottom and the neutral (and washable) interior color.
The Hideaway Hobo fits nicely under the arm and is super comfortable to carry. I do notice that it is a bit difficult to get into the bag when using the shoulder straps and I find that setting it down and opening it up is the easiest way to grab items from the bag.
The glazed coated cotton canvas is my favorite material from Petunia because it’s easily wipeable. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten milk, chocolate, shopping cart grime and other yucky stuff on my diaper bags only to find that they aren’t easy to clean off. The busy Beautiful Barcelona print combined with the wipeable surface is ideal for my lifestyle. This diaper bag is priced nicely at $179 and makes a perfect baby shower gift.
