Haute Polish
We all know that gel nail polish lasts longer than most regular nail polishes, but a gel manicure can get pretty expensive time after time. To save money, a lot of us try the DIY route. I’ve actually tried a few different DIY gel polish kits from some of the most popular nail care brands out there but I wanted to share my opinion on the Haute Polish Gel Polish kit because it’s the only one that actually worked like a salon gel manicure; plus it’s safe for pregnant mommies.

Seems easy right? That’s because it is. The Haute Polish Kit comes with just about everything you need to create a salon quality gel manicure. The kit costs $99 and comes with the LED light dryer, cleaning/finishing wipes, removing wipes, touch-up wands, three gel nail polishes and a buffer/file. The only things I would like to see included the kit are a base coat and a top coat.
Unlike some of the other gel polish kits out there, the Haute Polish gel polish actually lasted two weeks on my nails without chipping off. I just put a regular nail polish clear top coat to give it a bit of shine and protection and it worked well.

A gel manicure in my area will cost about $25 to $30 each visit. That means the Haute Polish Kit would pay for iteself after about four uses. That’s why I was originally turned on to the Haute Polish system and why I decided to give it a try. I’m all about saving money.
