Thanks to Pinterest, the DIY bar soap thing has really taken off. But who the heck has time to make their own soap? I mean, I sure as heck don’t! That’s why I turn to brands to do it for me. Brands like The Simply Soap company.
What is Simple Soap?
The Simple Soap is organic, handcrafted bar soap that contains essential oils (which are so popular right now), and has a long lasting fragrance. The Simple Soap is a family owned business based in the Pacific Northwest and they’ve put a little twist on the soap selling business…
The Simple Soap offers a monthly soap subscription box, with either 2 or 3 bars of featured soaps of the month. The subscription rate is $14.99 for the 2 bar box, or $19.99 for the 3 bar box. With a subscription box, you never have to worry about running out of soap! The fragrances for this month are Organic Fresh Aloe, Organic Island Spice and Organic Cool Citrus! The upcoming picks for September are Organic Citrus Spice, Organic Oats n’ Honey and Organic Rosemary Dill. This is a great way to try all 20 of The Simple Soap fragrances! The 2 bar subscription would be perfect for a couple or small family. Of course, you can also purchase any fragrance of The Simple Soap individually.
You can see the wholesome ingredients in each bar! |
I absolutely love the smell of lemons, so the Organic Lemongrass Bar is my favorite of the three I sampled. It smells like you just cut open a lemon, fresh and zesty! It leaves my skin very moisturized with a light fragrance. The Simple Soap bars come individually packed in adorable little cotton bags stamped with The Simple Soap logo. I think these would make super cute hostess or housewarming gifts!
The Simple Soap bars are a large sized bar and when wet they seem to really last (they don’t get “soggy” and melt away quickly like some brands). According to The Simple Soap website, one bar should be enough to last one person an entire month.
You can visit The Simple Soap on Facebook to read reviews and find out what fragrances are upcoming for the subscription boxes.
