Don’t have a scanner nearby and need to import a copy of something onto your computer or laptop? With the Zcan+ Scanner Mouse you don’t need anything but your mouse to make a scanned copy.

The Zcan+ Scanner Mouse is a product I’ve been really excited to try, especially for saving copies of receipts as I end up with a huge file folder at the end of the year for taxes. I do have a copier/scanner machine, but it is in another room, making a separate trip to copy every single document. The Zcan+ can be used on a MAC or PC with the simple online instructions downloaded from the CD. Zcan comes with a handy small mouse pad for use with receipt scanning. For larger pictures or full page scans I simply used my desk surface. The one tricky part was getting my page to stay still so the scan came out straight, but that just took some practice to overcome.

Now saving copies of receipts, documents or pictures is as easy as: 1. Press the illuminated plus sign on your mouse. 2. Hold the plus sign and roll the mouse completely over your document until you see a complete copy on your screen. 3. Select what you want to do with that document and drag it to where you will use it. 4. Edit as needed.
Another great perk of the Zcan+ was being able to just scan a paragraph or two and not the whole document. I love being able to open a recipe book and quickly scan a recipe onto my computer! When you are done with the scan The Zcan+ app pops up as soon as you start scanning and gives you quick options – save, copy, edit, and share.

Kids going back to school or off to college? This would be the perfect gift to send with them! Think how much time this would save them in the library or classroom with not having to go find a copy machine to save information. The “edit” function of the Zcan+ app makes it a complete package in my opinion.

I would use this for recipes.
I would use it for numerous things, but the main use would be for immigration documents pertaining to getting a visa for my husband to come to this country.
Many possibilities come to mind; ie: scan directly to site within Facebook, & with scanning resumes.
