Generally men are not that particular about the smell of their soap products, until they find one that they really like. My husband has a favorite soap that I ordered over the internet, but its pretty pricey and hard to find so he doesn’t use it often.
When I received my bars of Dr. Squatch soaps, their scents were noticeable immediately upon opening the package! So far, the Gold Moss Scrub soap is the favorite, with the Bay Rum second and the Spearmint Basil Scrub in third place.
My Favorite Dr. Squatch Soap Scents
The Gold Moss has kind of an “after shave” type smell to it, and the smell lingers quite a while after a shower. It also has a “scrub” in it to exfoliate your skin, while moisturizing with its natural oils and shea butter.
The Bay Rum also had a very manly smell, but a little more tropical and spicy than the Gold Moss. The Bay Rum had a lighter after smell to me than the Gold Moss. All in all, my husband smells pretty terrific after his showers now!
While Dr. Squatch is touted as “soap for men,” I thoroughly enjoyed the Spearmint Basil Scrub soap. My skin actually felt kind of tingly after using it, but very moist and smooth. The scrub is very gentle to your skin, but got rid of some of my after vacation dry skin and peeling. I love the minty smell.
Something that I was excited to note with all the Dr. Squatch soaps is that my whole bathroom smells great, even with the soap just sitting dry in the soap dish! No need for any room sprays or plug in fragrance. I love having great smelling bathrooms!
Dr. Squatch soaps are a weighty bar of soap, weighing in at 5 ounces per bar. The creamy lather feels great and washes off very cleanly with no soap residue at all. At $6.00 per bar, I think Dr. Squatch soaps are a great price for their size.
You can find his favorite scents, as well as monthly soap subscriptions and beautiful gift boxes (handpicked from local cigar shops) filled with a selection of soaps, at www.drsquatch.com or Amazon.
