Our 12 x 13 illuminated artwork is perfect for my daughter’s bedroom. We use it as a nightlight during story time and it just ads a bit of fun to her room. What I really like about this illuminated artwork is that you have the option of removing the chord. If you prefer to just leave the artwork on the wall without lighting it up, simply pull out the chord and stow it away for another time. I do wish there was an option when it comes to the color of the chord, though. I would’ve chosen white to blend in with her wall a little better.
The title of the piece we received is Sunshine and the artist is Sascalia from England. Sascalia is a French self-taught Mixed Media artist, who grew up in rural France but now lives in England. Her artwork is influenced by her love of nature and inspired by fairy tales she listened to as a child. Working from her home studio in semi rural South East England, she creates her artwork using a variety of mediums such as acrylic and watercolor paints, collage elements and ink. Nature, trees, flowers, and birds are all a major influence in her art as well as fairy tales. Her work is both rich in color and contemporary yet has a whimsical vintage feel, bringing magical dream like visions to life.
