Last Minute Mother’s Day Gift Ideas from Dollar General
Don’t be ashamed if you’ve waited until the last minute to get your mom a Mother’s Day gift. We all do it from time to time. Thankfully, Dollar General has tons of cute stuff for mom no matter what her taste might be.
We actually just got a new Dollar General in our small town which is kind of a big deal and yesterday was my first time in the store. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Dollar General is like a drug store meets a dollar store. They had all of the inexpensive favorites that I like getting from dollar stores but they had the makeup and food that is great to grab at the drug store. Super handy!
While walking through the store with my daughter, I couldn’t help but notice the “seasonal” aisle. This is actually where I ended up finding my Mother’s Day gift products. I put together a cute little gift basket full of outdoor goodies like two margarita glasses, a citronella candle, a cute purple carafe for water or wine and a fun flowery chip bowl. Most of these products were in the $2 range so I was still under the $20 limit I was shooting for. Then, I found the cutest collapsable basket for $8 that I ended up putting everything in.
