I don't have any effective method for keeping my toothbrush clean. I usually just pack a brand new one.
I have a cheesy plastic case from the dollar store..not real effective.
I usually just put it in a travel case or if all else fails, a Ziploc bag.

I use electric so I put plastic case over bristles and put it in plastic bag
i dn't have any way to keep it clean so i normally just take a new one and throw it away before coming home
I usually just put my toothbrush in a plastic baggy with my toothpaste.
