I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Pull-Ups. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
I can’t help but think of the many little transitions that my daughter and I have gone through since she was born. For me, the transition from nursing to not nursing was a major one, then the transition to a big girl bed from a crib and now potty training.
We’ve been tackling potty training for a few months now but for some reason we can’t get the nighttime down. We started the potty training process with the three day Naked Baby Bootcamp which was amazing, but I still have to put a diaper on her while she sleeps because she’ll have accidents. Also, when we are out and about all day I prefer to keep a diaper on her in case she forgets to remind me that she has to use the potty. For this reason, Pull-Ups® are really going to come in handy. Since Pull-Ups® training pants are designed to look and feel more like underwear, my daughter still feels like a big girl but is protected if she has an accident.
For those of you that don’t know about the Naked Baby Bootcamp,
our version went like this –
We literally let our daughter run around the house, naked, for three days (with the exception of nighttime). For those three days, she didn’t have one accident. Each time she felt the urge to go, she ran straight to the potty and went. It was that easy. If you feel that this strategy isn’t right for you, check out the Pull-Ups website for more tips on potty training from the Big Kid Academy.
Pull-Ups® Training Pants help make potty training a fun and easy bonding experience between parents and children by encouraging parents to celebrate potty training with fun rituals. The Pull-Ups® website is loaded with fun ideas and ways to praise your child. One of my favorites is the character call. After visiting the potty, celebrate with a simulated call from your child’s favorite character. Choose from Minnie, Finn, Mater or Cinderella. My daughter was ecstatic when she received a call from Cinderella.
