Let the Prom Dress Shopping Begin
When shopping for a prom dress this year there are a couple of things that will probably be on your mind, price and style. We are seeing lots of corals, turquoise and bling this year in the prom dress world but we are also seeing modesty. This is a bit different from my prom dress shopping days. It seemed like back when I was in high school, the shorter the dress the better. Thank goodness that’s changed.
In an effort to search for gorgeous prom dresses to include in this post, I stumbled upon JenJenHouse. This company has lots of discounted prom dresses for just about every preference. I was playing around with different styles and colors and wanted to share what I came up with.
I started my search in the new arrivals section (http://www.jenjenhouse.com/Prom-Dresses-c18/new-arrival/) and branched off from there.
Prom is all about standing out and being unique but also looking stunning. Try to dress more on the modest side because nobody wants to see the goods when you are dancing. This blingy purple dress reminds me of the movie Frozen. I love the sweetheart neckline and the flowy bottom.
Since prom is all about dancing, you’ll obviously want to consider a dress that is easy to dance in. This coral colored dress has a removable section that allows you to easily get your groove on.
A good point to remember is to avoid the bridal look. By sticking to a colored dress and avoiding white you should be just fine. The dress below is one of my favorites because it’s modeled after a wedding dress so you get that perfect, elegant fit but you still have the fun, young pop of color. The sweetheart neckline is my absolute favorite.
If you love the looks I presented today, head over the JenJenHouse.com and shop their 2014 Prom Dress section.
