I’m a sucker for a great eye shadow palette, especially one that’s super affordable. I typically go with more of the natural colors for my everyday look like browns and cranberry tones and go for more of a smokey look when I go out. I tried out my new eye shadow palette on Valentine’s Day and I was pleasantly surprised with how well the eyeshadow stayed on all day without the use of the base. While the colors might look very glitzy, they actually go on really pretty and don’t end up looking cheap, which was my fear. This company offers makeup products for cheerleaders, performers and dancers so I was afraid of the colors being too bold but I was wrong.
The BA*STAR Glitter Glue Base was a little much for my everyday look. It made my shadow stick better and almost look a little bolder so it’s great if you need a product to make your makeup stay all day.
Out of the five colors in my eyeshadow palette, I use the dark brown and whitish color the most. Overall, I’m impressed with the price of $8.95 and the longevity of the eye shadows. Plus, they didn’t irritate my eyelids like most glittery colors do. You should definitely give BA*STAR a shot if you are in the market for some new eye shadows.
