(1/26/14) This week we (Patty, Cristen and Charlotte) will be working from Carmel, CA ((okay, vacationing + working)). Our first night was spent at the beautiful Vendange Inn and Suites and we LOVED it. Each room is decorated by a different winery and we were lucky enough to stay in the Twisted Roots room. These wine bottles are not only wall decor but they are for purchase for around $25 each.
Last night we enjoyed a cozy wine and cheese reception in the lobby below our room and spoke with the owner, Brian Lee, about all of the changes he and his brother have made to the inn since they acquired it in 2012. We toured a few of the rooms and the grounds and were able to see all of the improvements that have been done.
After our tour and discussion with Brian, we hung out in our room and let little Charlotte watch TV on our huge flat screen HD TV and lit a fire.
Plans for today (1/27/14) – Beach, beach and more beach! A little birdie told us to get sandwiches from the little market in town because they are the best in town.
