Circus In The Sky is a beautifully illustrated book of the constellations told in a poetic style, through the eyes of a little boy who believes he is the ring master of the night sky. Circus In The Sky is so magical it will inspire parents and kids to want to learn more of the sky and it’s wonders.
My daughter loves Circus In The Sky because she, too, has stars on her ceiling. Every night when we tuck her into bed we click on her pillow pet starry night light that projects a moon and the stars onto her ceiling. She cannot go to sleep unless the moon is visible. I sometimes wonder what she thinks about when falling asleep while staring at the moon and stars. Perhaps she dreams about being in a circus in the sky, like Julian in the book. |
Mermaids On Mars is a sweet tale that educates children on the importance of water conservation. Beautifully illustrated and simple to follow the rules the mermaids want to share with children all over the world on the importance of water conservation with simple things they can do to help save this precious resource.
This story is one my family can definitely benefit from and relate to. We are in the process of potty training right now and naturally, flushing the potty is fun for my daughter. This book helps explain that we don’t need to excessively waste water when going potty or when brushing our teeth. My daughter is also into the Little Mermaid right now so she thinks the mermaids are like “Ariel.” We love the bright colors and whimsical illustrations in this book. |
