The Beach
Disclosure: Sponsored. I received complimentary airfare, food and accommodations as part of a #momstravelmexico campaign from the Sheraton and Epic Group. My opinions are honest and my own and are not influenced by compensation.
My daughter is obsessed with the beach so when we heard that the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar offered a spacious beach on the Sea of Cortez, we were sold. Not only can you lounge along the warm sandy beach but you can challenge yourself to a game of beach volleyball with family and friends and enjoy beachfront drinks from the bar. Please note that the Sheraton’s beach is not necessarily a swimmable beach because of the rough surf.
If you’re looking for safe, swimmable beach, you should check out Chileno Bay, about a five minute drive from the Sheraton. We had an amazing day with the friendly guys from Baja Outback. We booked the Cabo 4 Kids adventure and we couldn’t have asked for a better day.
The Cabo 4 Kids excursion includes round trip transportation, beach and sand castle toys, youth activity coordinators, boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach camp, box lunch and beverages. This 4-hour tour is $70 per child and $50 per adult.
The friendly staff from Baja Outback were extra cautious with each kid making sure they had sunscreen on and were well-hydrated. They provided plenty of gatorades, waters, sodas and juice boxes along with yummy snacks. Each staff member was great with kids and was really involved teaching them how to snorkel, build sand castles and boogie board. We will definitely book another excursion with Baja Outback on our next trip to Cabo.
