The Adventure Kid’s Club at the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar Golf and Spa Resort features a variety of services and activities for up to 50 children at a time ages four to twelve. The Kid’s Club offers hour, half day and full day programs to suit just about every family’s needs. Kids can enjoy the awesome flat screen TV’s with video game systems, craft areas, board games and more inside the club. The outside area boasts an impressive fenced pool area with aquatic wonders like mushroom waterfalls, a daring wooden bridge and a speedy water slide. Parents can relax in the surrounding lounge chairs, enjoy drinks from the nearby pool bar and take advantage of the amazing Cabo sun all while watching their child(ren) swim and splash around.
The kid’s pool in the Kid’s Club is ideal for children who can swim on their own. My daughter, being only two, had to be under constant supervision while swimming because the pool goes from a beach-entry to about four or five feet deep. However, there is another kid’s pool near the adult infinity pool that is just 1.15 feet deep. If you are traveling with a toddler, I highly suggest you hang out near this pool. This will be right in the center of all of the resort action and you will be able to take advantage of the nearby dining, bars and cart vendors.
The Sheraton Hacienda del Mar offers a number of affordable Kid’s Club packages to help families plan a beach vacation, including the Family Package, which includes free meals for kids under 12 with the purchase of each adult meal at Tomatoes and Las Sirenas restaurants, one in-room movie per night, a welcome snack for each child (up to two children), and late check out at 4 p.m. Rates start at just $199 USD per night (excl. tax) with a two night minimum. Should you choose to take advantage of the Kid’s Club programs, you can rest assured knowing your kids will be in good hands with the Red Cross and CPR-certified Kid’s Club staff.
My family had an EPIC time in the amazing new EPIC-themed hotel room. The room is completely wrapped in scenes from the Blue Sky Films movie, EPIC, transporting you to the magical mini world of M.K., Nod, Ronin and the slugs! My daughter’s favorite movie just happens to be EPIC, so naturally she was mesmerized by the impressive wall decor.
