Bath Time Fun Beyond the Rubber Ducky
My daughter has sensitive skin just like her momma. Poor girl. So when the wintertime hits, so does the dry, rough skin. The solution, for us, for dry, winter skin are great bath and body products. Let me tell you, I’ve reviewed a lot of bath and body products and they are not all created equal. Especially the ones for kids. If it stings the eyes – it’s out! If it doesn’t moisturize – gone! If it’s full of artificial ingredients – forget about it! I challenge you to take a look at your child’s bath and body products ingredients list and google the ones you’ve never heard of. You may be surprised to find what you are putting on your baby, and yourself for that matter.
I was recently sent some awesome products from My True Nature™ for the fun Ultimate Online Baby Shower (#UOBS) promotions. I couldn’t wait to try their all natural and organic products because I’ve read that they are great for eczema (which I have actually been experiencing). Most of their products fall in the $15 range which is about right for organic and all natural products.
We’ve been using the Bubbly by Nature Dewey’s Baby Soft Scent bubble bath, the Cushy by Nature Cilo’s “Beary” Soft Lotion and the Daisy’s 2-in-1 Shampoo and Body Wash in Calming Lavender for a couple of weeks now and I have no complaints. None of the products burn my daughter’s eyes, they smell amazing and are organic and natural. What more could you want? We cannot figure out what it is about the lotion that makes our dog go nuts. From the moment we apply the lotion to my daughter after bathtime until she goes to bed, our dog Laila tries to lick the lotion off of her. Charlotte calls her a “lotion licker.”
