Santa Watch at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa: Search the skies on Christmas Eve when Ed Mahoney, the resort’s Director of Astronomy, turns the Tour of the Stars into a search for Santa! A special daily resort program, the Tour of the Stars is Hyatt Regency Maui’s very own rooftop astronomy program, featuring Hawaii’s only recreational telescope. This special activity gets a holiday spin as families use the telescope and their naked eye to try to identify jolly old Saint Nick as he flies through the Hawaiian night sky. Tuesday, Dec. 24 at 7 p.m., 8 p.m., 9 p.m., and 10 p.m.
· Poolside Holiday Cinema at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa: Join the ohana at Hyatt Regency Maui during the holidays for special poolside viewings of classic Christmas favorites. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the resort’s Poolside Cinema, taking place at the stunning Napili Pool. From Sunday, Dec. 22 to Wednesday, Dec. 25 at 6:15 p.m. daily, vacationing families can get in the holiday spirits with favorites such as Home Alone, A Charlie Brown Christmas, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer.
