Nancy is the creator of Slumber Stories, an adorable children’s game that encourages children to create stories. Whether you’re at home, camping or having a party, Slumber Stories dice are the perfect addition to any household.

Materials Used

I am a go green girl and believe in using recycled products whenever possible. Slumber Stories dice are made from scrap wood pieces by the Canadian Salvaged Timber Corp. The jars we use are made from recycled glass by Canadian Recycled Glass.

Nancy currently has 3 different themed sets of Slumber Stories. Each set contains 6 dice. That’s 36 images to create wonderful and fun stories of. If you get all 3 sets you can mix and match them all together to create even more and sillier stories.

Please Help Reach My Goal!

My goal is to achieve my dream to get Slumber Stories out there so every family can enjoy them as much as my family does.

But there are costs involved in making them. I need to buy product supplies, shipping materials, to get a website going and to hire some help making them.

I promise, if Slumber Stories gets funded that I will come out with many more themed sets….story time will never be boring!

Slumber Stories would be a great game for teachers and caregivers to use as well. The creativity that Slumber Stories sparks in children is amazing and adorable and I am so proud to be doing this.

If this project is lucky enough to become a funded project I will create stretch goals as well.

The Story Behind Slumber Stories (Nancy’s Story)

My children were bored of reading and hearing the same stories at bedtime. It didn’t financially make sense to go out and buy a new book every day for bedtime. I wanted to find a way to make it more exciting for them…..So I created Slumber Stories Dice as a fun way to make up silly stories at bedtime.

But they don`t only use them at bedtime….they play them as a game during the day as well. I love playing Slumber Stories with them and laughing with them at the stories they are able to create from the dice.

They have created stories about princess astronauts, a cowboy that lived in a tree and even a love story about a dog and a cat LOL!
