Remember the days when TV shows had a good message at the end? Off the top of my head I can think of Full House, Seventh Heaven, Leave it to Beaver, etc. It’s like they don’t make kid’s programs the same these days which is such a let down.
I’m all about finding wholesome, entertaining shows that my daughter and I can watch together and frankly, I’m a little sick of cartoons. I never thought about looking online for kid’s shows until I was introduced to an awesome new web series called Kid’s Town. Kid’s Town can be viewed on any device via Vimeo so it’s great for on-the-go viewing. Each show is only $1 to rent and the rental is good for a year. Talk about value! Check out the trailer:
Wasn’t that such a great trailer? As soon as I saw the trailer I was hooked. Kid’s Town obviously isn’t geared towards toddlers but if you have middle school-aged kids, I bet they’d totally love it. Plus, mom and dad can enjoy it, too!
If you can access the web on your TV you can enjoy Kid’s Town from the comfort of your couch. Otherwise, watch it on your computer, iPad or any other device.
More About Kid’s Town
12 year old Brian Russell is the new kid in town, again. As he navigates another set of unwritten rules of the school yard Brian finds himself tangled in the strings of small town politics when he clashes heads with the Mayor’s son, the local press owners youngest, and the Librarian’s pretty daughter. A family series as much for adults as their children, KID’S TOWN is about young love, friendship, small town civics, power struggles and the universal need to figure out one’s place in the world.
Executive Producer Jeff Knoll, Creator/Writer/Creative Producer Tomas Street, Director Mikelle Virey, LIne Producer Michael Heuthe, Director of Photography Bai Zhou
