Transitioning your infant from the bassinet to the crib can be a scary thought. For me, SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) was the main concern but I also worried about my baby feeling abandoned. I decided to put my daughter in her crib at just two weeks old because I needed some sleep. Her adorable breathing along with every little noise that peeped out of her body kept me awake and this momma needed some rest.
When I transitioned my daughter from the bassinet to the crib (in her own room) I decided to give her a safe sleep companion. I’m not talking about the dog or mommy or daddy. I’m talking about something like the B Kids Bobbee Snuggle Bear. As she got older, she added a few more sleep companions to her crib like her favorite “Pink Bunny” and “Baby With Moon.” I believe that by allowing her to have sleep companions, she’s been able to sooth herself to sleep without the help of mom or dad. Of course, we’ve always maintained a good bedtime routine and we’ve always put our daughter to bed awake. By putting her to bed awake she’s learned to sooth herself to sleep. I truly feel that allowing babies to have a safe sleep companion like the Bobbee Snuggle Bear makes a huge difference.
The Bobbee Snuggle Bear is the perfect safe sleep companion. The internal glowing light and soothing melodies can calm your baby to sleep without the risk of choking. The adorable owl rattle can be inserted into the Bobbee bear for bedtime and removed for daytime play. You can find the B Kids Bobbee Snuggle Bear on Amazon for around $39.99 or on the B Kids website for $30. A must-have for expectant parents or parents of infants.
Disclosure: I received a B Kids Bobbee Snuggle Bear to facilitate a review as part of our #AutumnShowers Event. My opinion and article is honest and my own.
