My Thoughts

Why haven’t I purchased one of these sooner? This stroller sun shade is the perfect stroller accessory for travel, shopping trips and anything else you need the stroller for. I’m always concerned about my daughter’s legs getting sunburned and the SnoozeShade Plus – Deluxe is the solution.

I love that the fabric is very breathable and that it’s double lined. My only concern was that my daughter would get hot with the SnoozeShade all zipped up but I was completely wrong. The fabric allows so much airflow but also creates a peaceful environment.

The installation is pretty self explanatory once you pull the SnoozeShade out of the package. There are elastic bands at the top and bottom of the shade so it wraps around nicely on the top and bottom of the stroller. For the sides, you simply pull the stretchy bands towards the stroller frame and snap the loops shut. The button snaps are nice quality and easy to snap together but strong enough that my two-year old daughter can’t unsnap them.

A huge plus is that when you pull the two shades down, there is a pocket at the bottom of the SnoozeShade to hide them away. You can snap the pocket together to keep them tucked up and out of the away. Genius!

SnoozeShade for Travel

We travel quite a lot (cruises, resorts, etc) and my daughter ends up napping in her stroller when out and about. She’s two but still takes two solid naps per day at home and we try to keep that routine anywhere we go. We struggle with keeping her in a shady environment when on vacation because a traditional stroller has limited sun protection. Now, with the SnoozeShade Plus-Deluxe, we’ll have no problems keeping her in a shady little area for naps. When on vacation, naptime means mommy and daddy get to enjoy a cocktail and a magazine by the pool or on the beach.

Are you a parent of an infant? There’s a SnoozeShade designed for infant car seats and strollers so you don’t have to worry about sunburns, strangers touching your baby or anything else you’re concerned about. When I was a new mom, my first trip to the mall was hectic. I was afraid that people were going to touch my daughter in her stroller so I ended up using my nursing cover to cover her up, which is not breathable at all!
