RedWeek – Timeshare Rentals and Resales
Have you ever wondered about traveling to someplace exotic and thought it was way too expensive? Check out RedWeek’s timeshare rentals! There are timeshare owners who are willing and able to rent out their timeshare units for a fraction of what you would pay to stay in a luxury hotel or condominium. For example, a 7 night stay in August at the Marriott Ocean Club in Maui on Kaanapali beach would be approximately $1400 for a 7 night stay. That is for a 3 bedroom/2 bath condominium in a prime location! In comparison to staying at a comparable hotel such as the Hyatt or Westin (standard hotel rooms without kitchens or bedrooms), you are saving between $500-1000 and getting much more for your money!
With a condo you have so much more freedom to cook your own meals or barbecue outside at the pool! Just speaking from recent experience on my trip to Kaanapali and staying at the Hyatt Regency, it is very tiring eating out every meal and gets super expensive! It would have been nice to stop at Costco and load up on groceries, drinks and snacks to enjoy for the duration. I was really craving a home cooked meal by the end of 9 days, believe me!
Being a renter instead of an owner means you avoid paying the yearly fees on a timeshare. You also avoid being locked into a certain timeshare company. With renting you are free to rent anywhere and anytime you want!
Benefits of being a RedWeek member
This is a great website for listing your timeshare rental or listing a timeshare that you want to resell. There are forums on RedWeek.com where you can get buying, selling or renting tips from others to maximize your vacation or ownership potential. This forum can really help you understand all the ins and outs of timeshare ownership, ie – the point system, exchanges, etc. RedWeek is a little different than VRBO in that it also offers sales of timeshares and loads of travel tips for you to consider before booking a trip.
What’s in a name? RedWeek was named after weeks that are booked during prime travel times such as peak summer, spring break or holiday times. On RedWeek.com you will definitely find rentals that are open during the “red weeks” anywhere in the world!
