I was just introduced to this fun app to entertain kids called Friendstrip Kids. The app lets you create personalized comic strips starring your kids (or yourself). All you have to do is take a few pictures according to the storyboard the app provides. The special effects – also provided directly within the app – will help, for example, transform the living room couch into a huge pirate ship! This one-of-its-kind app will without a doubt help exercise your kids’ creativity in no time; all the storyboards can be completed in less than 5 minutes! FriendStrip Kids currently has over 80 fully-customizable scenarios ready for you to enjoy!
You can visit the Apple iTunes store and get the FriendStrip Kids App Free or the FriendStrip Kids Pro App for $3.99. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The app is optimized for iPhone 5 and requires iOS 5.0 or later.
My Thoughts
Before I begin telling you how much I like this app, take a look at the silly comic I made while my daughter was napping. Please excuse the ‘no makeup, messy-hair look’ as I just came in from a walk about 10 minutes prior. I had a lot of fun creating my ‘Slimy Kiss’ comic and can’t wait to try it out with my daughter and husband. Keep an eye out on my Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook accounts for our comic creations.
My first comic was super easy to make. I literally just took pictures of myself according to the instructions on the app. It took about three minutes to create my first comic, which I was unhappy with because I didn’t like my pictures, so I redid the same comic in about two minutes. I love that I am able to share the fun comics with friends and family with the SHARE button on the app. My f
In the app, you have the option of editing the text, which I think I should have done because I think comic square #2 doesn’t quite make sense…but oh well. I still had fun and will continue to have fun with it.
