Epson® Expression® Home XP-400 All-in-One Printer Review
Written by: Cristen
Staples to the Rescue: My parents had a trip to Maui planned for themselves, and last minute, I decided to buy a plane ticket and join them. I hurried and bought my plane tickets online, but forgot that my printer had completely died on me. Then the lovely delivery man came to the door with my new EPSON Expression Home XP-400 printer within about 20 minutes of me purchasing my plane tickets. It couldn’t have been better timing.
I quickly set-up my new printer, which was easy-peasy, and printed my boarding pass and receipts. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to set-up this printer. The directions were easy to understand and had great pictures to help the set-up process. Yay! Off to Maui!

Print Photos
When packing for my trip Maui, I debated on whether to bring my good DSLR camera, or my little point and shoot camera. I didn’t want to have to lug around my big camera, but I was afraid my little point and shoot camera wouldn’t take great pictures. So, I decided to go with my big Canon, and what a great decision that was! My camera took great pictures and I’m now able to print my favorite vacation photos with my Epson printer right in my own home. I don’t have to order them through a company online or head down to my local store. So easy!

Scan & Copy
I find it funny how much I actually needed the scan and copy capabilities now that I have them. Before, I would just take a picture of a paper that I needed a copy of with my iPhone and email it to myself to be printed. Talk about doing things the long way, huh?
With the EPSON XP-400, you can quickly and easily (yes, I use those words a lot in the review) scan or copy your documents.

WiFi is the best!
I’ve always had old hand-me-down printers with a bunch of cords connecting them to the power outlet and the computer. I can’t explain enough how much I LOVE the fact that this EPSON printer connects to my computer with WiFi. At first, I was freaking out a little bit thinking that EPSON forgot to give me the cord to connect the printer to my computer, but once I actually read my instruction manual, I realized it used WiFi. Duh!
Because this printer connects to my computer with WiFi, I can set the printer further away from my computer and not have to have it crowding my desk and hogging up space. Love this!
